Burger patties made with ground beef, shiitake mushrooms, and OohNami! Robust Gochu Chili Sauce.
Layered with kimchi pickles, red onion, and green lettuce - all in a brioche bun.
Ingredients
- 475 g ground beef
- ½ cup shiitake mushrooms, minced
- ½ cup OohNami! Robust Gochu Chili Sauce
- ¾ cup Korean kimchi, drained
- 2 slices red onion, ¼-inch thick
- 4 pieces green lettuce
- 4 brioche buns
Directions
- Prepare the burger patties
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced shiitake mushrooms, and OohNami! Robust Gochu Chili Sauce.
Mix until well combined.
Form into four 6-ounce patties, about 1 inch thick. - Cook the burgers
Cook the patties on a grill, griddle, or stovetop frying pan.
Flip halfway through cooking.
For medium-well doneness, cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or adjust to your preferred doneness. - Assemble the burgers
Build each burger in the following order:
Burger bun heel
1 green lettuce leaf
1 cooked OohNami! burger patty
2 red onion rings
3 tablespoons kimchi
Burger bun crown
Notes
- Add sliced American or cheddar cheese to make it a cheeseburger.
